The year was 1983 and at KTH a new education had been created. The first computer scientists sought like-minded people and community, and so the Konglig Datasektionen came into being on October 7th of the same year. Since then, the section has been celebrated every five years with noise and bang. dJubileet is the project that organizes the festivities and ensures that Konglig Datasektionen receives the acclaim that the section deserves.

Next year it's time for the 40th anniversary and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!

It is time for us to open up the application for the largest project of the chapter, METAspexet!

But what do we do in the METAspexet project? Well, as the name would suggest we put up a spex show, which is a theatric show rooted in student culture that incorporates both musical and interactive elements, that we show to an audience at the end of the school year. METAspexet have a lot of different groups, both on stage and off stage, that helps us put up an fantastic show every year so there is surely a group that will interest you. Applications for the project group for Studs 2023 are now open!

Studs is a project at the CS chapter where the project group, consisting of around 30 master students, together apply to the course AI2151 Industrial development and entrepreneurship 15 hp. In the project we sell, organize and attend a bunch of business events with interesting companies within the tech industry and it is all topped of with an epic study trip abroad. Perfect if you want to get a feel for what different companies offer and to find future employers!

Everyone studying at a CS masters programme (e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning or Interactive Media Technology) can apply, read more and apply in the form below!

During the summer META will be closed from the 20th of June until the 31st of July.

On the 6th of August, the absolute highlight of the summer occurs - namely the Stockholm Pride Parade 2022! The Royal Data Section will of course participate in the parade with its own maxed out contribution, good drinks and snacks, incredible party atmosphere with thunderous music, and last but not least - A SOAP BUBBLE MACHINE. It is a great opportunity to show commitment and dance for love, community and all that goes with it.

🌈 ABOUT STOCKHOLM PRIDE PARADE The parade starts at 13:00 from City Hall (Stadshuset) and then winds its way through the whole of Stockholm at 4.5 km to Östermalm's IP. Pride Parade in Stockholm is Scandinavia's largest Pride Parade with about 50,000 participants and 500,000 in the audience.

🌈 DRESSCODE Come as you please. Maybe in the most colorful, glittery, summery or stylish outfit you have? If you want to represent the section, it goes super well with ovve.

🌈 COLLECTION PLACE / TIME TBA but somewhere at City Hall approx. 12:30. We will return with more info about the exact location and start number when the event is approaching.
