This Sunday (22/9), the International Committees 🌍 for the Computer Science (D), Media Technology (Me), Electrical Engineering (E) and Medical Technology (MiT) Chapters will be collaborating to host a one-of-a-kind event in Osqvik 🪵, the Student Union's cabin out in the archipelago 🏝️. We are looking for both international 🌐 and Swedish 🇸🇪 participants!

Join us for a fun night of partying 🕺, playing cool games 🃏, enjoying a lively atmosphere 🎶 and overall hanging out with nice people 🤙. This is a great opportunity to get to know other Elektro ⚡, MedTek 🩻, Media 🎥, and Data 🤓 students! You decide whether to stay overnight or not, as well as what activities you want to participate in.

Besides a grill 🫕, a campfire 🔥 and pleasant vibes ✨, Osqvik has much to offer, including a sauna 🧖 and a natural creek 🏞️ to dip into if you're feeling brave. Feel free to bring a swimsuit and towel if you want to try them out. 🩳

At 17:30, 2024-10-15 Budget-SM will be held in D1. The reserve date is 2023-10-16 in META. The deadline for submitting motions is 2024-09-29. At the SM we will hold elections for several important positions, decide on the budget for 2025 and address motions and propositions.

The second reading for propositions regarding the following will also be held: Deadline for Agendas, Deputies, Introduction of a Speaker Presidium, Introduction of Organs, and Management Group and Election Meetings.

📣 APPLICATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT GROUP FOR STUDS 2025 IS OPEN! 📣

Since we did not manage to fill all the entries during the first application period, we are now opening the application again! If you are the least bit interested in a management role or STUDS in general, I encourage you to APPLY or come and talk to me!

Are you a current or future Master's student looking for a fun and slightly different course? Maybe you also want to work on your leadership skills and have a little more responsibility? Then the management group for STUDS 2025 is something for you!

But, for those of you who missed it, what is STUDS? Studs is a project, and a course of 15 credits, where around 30 master's students get the chance to visit interesting companies in the IT industry during the course of the year. The project then ends with a study trip! Where the study trip goes depends on how many events we have during the year and what the group thinks!

In the management group, you get to take responsibility for your own group, develop your leadership skills, and make more contacts in both the business world and with other students. Anyone studying a master's degree and a program linked to the EECS school are welcome and encouraged to apply.
