Crash & Burn

Crash & Burn

We are glad that you have found your way to Crash & Burn's page! Crash & Burn is responsible for developing new systems for the chapter and maintaining its current ones. In short, we are a group of students who enjoy programming and learning together. Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of whether you have years of experience as a developer or are completely new to programming.

The Chapter’s Systems

You can find the repositories for our systems on GitHub. If you want to contribute, you may ask the Head of Systems to add you to our organization or attend one of our programming evenings. (As in evening where we program together.)

A Selection of Our Systems

Some systems built by previous students that are extensively used by the chapter are listed below.

  • Cashflow is probably our most used system. Here you can register expenditures you have made on behalf of the Chapter such that the Treasurer can reimburse you as soon as possible. Neat, right?
  • Damm is a collection of old patches and other historical stuff.
  • Aaallt may not be our most exciting system, but it allows you to get to almost all the chapter's systems.

Join the Committee

We usually arrange programming evenings every Thursday starting around 5 PM somewhere in the E-Building (commonly in computer lab Red, Orange or Yellow). You are more than welcome to attend one to see what we are working on, develop something for the chapter or just hang out.

The easiest way to find out when and where our events take place is to ask on Mattermost. Hope to see you there!
