Abhinav Sasikumar
Abhinav has had a long career in educational advocacy within the Computer Science programme. During this time, he has served as Student Programme Representative in 2022 and has also held an impressive three mandates as Member for Educational Affairs on the chapter board.
Throughout this period, Abhinav has carried out absolutely indispensable work behind the scenes to ensure that educational advocacy efforts could proceed smoothly and without disruption. Through his organizational, strategic, and operational support, Abhinav has been a steadfast pillar for several SNO to rely on. In addition to ensuring and maintaining strong communication between the chapter and the programme office, Abhinav has, during his years in educational advocacy, always made himself available to step in and provide support whenever something needed to be done.
For his loyal service, engagement, and dedication to the quality of education at KTH, Abhinav Sasikumar is awarded the Owl of Honor.
Niels Barth
During his relatively short career in educational advocacy, Niels has demonstrated a strong determination to improve the programme and its courses, both on an overarching level and in detail.
Since stepping into the role of Year Representative in 2024, Niels has carried out exemplary work in developing the working methods associated with the position and expanding its responsibilities and processes. At the same time, he has always worked actively and effectively to identify problems before they arise and, in consultation with course coordinators, sought to find solutions as efficiently as possible. Already in the autumn of 2024, Niels looked beyond his role as Year Representative and began raising questions and proposals aimed at improving the programme as a whole, efforts he later continued in his role as Student Programme Representative. Through his work and dedication, Niels has set an exemplary standard for how student influence can and should be conducted within the programme.
For his hard work, his determination to bring about improvements for students, and his commitment to the well-being of his fellow students, Niels Barth is awarded the Owl of Honor.
Patrik Johansson
Patrik has, throughout his career in educational advocacy, demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, a strong sense of justice, and an impressive ability to represent students in dialogue with both teachers and other faculty members. During his time in the Computer Science and Engineering programme, he has shown great commitment to student influence and contributed tremendously to both educational representatives and other students.
During his time at KTH, Patrik has served in several important roles related to student influence. As a course committee representative in the course Programming Paradigms, he first demonstrated his ability to represent students through constructive and effective dialogue with the course coordinators in order to achieve positive changes. In addition, through his role as a teaching assistant in several courses, he was an absolutely indispensable resource for the educational advocacy team in maintaining an active dialogue with course coordinators during ongoing course rounds, thereby enabling issues that were discovered to be more easily prevented or remedied.
Beyond this, Patrik has also served with distinction as Master's representative for the Computer Science Master's programme, where he once again demonstrated both his strong character and his drive to ensure that the education as a whole is of the highest possible quality.
For his hard work and dedication to the quality of education in the Computer Science and Engineering programme, Patrik Johansson is awarded the Owl of Honor.
Rafael Mealha Fino Serra E Oliveira
During his time with the study board, Rafael has distinguished himself with his good work ethic and commitment. He has participated with dedication and drive in the chapter’s study board as a master representative for the Cybersecurity Master since his first year at KTH as a student representative for his classmates in the cybsec programme.
In addition to his involvement in student influence, Raf has also worked diligently to increase contact between students, student representatives and programme managers at large. He has organised introductory events for incoming students in the Master's programme, as well as being heavily involved in improving contact between the section and international students, which is also of great importance for the student union's ability to conduct effective influence work in all Master's programmes in general.
