It is once again time for the annual trip to Åre with datasektionen, dÅre. ❄️ Each year computer science students go on an awesome trip together to Åre for great ski slopes, and even better vibes! Vi begin our journey up to Åre saturday night the 16th of January, and go back home thursday the 21st. It's going to be a lot of fun, and we in the project group are super duper hyped. ❄️ The tickets go live November 4th kl. 20.00. After high demand, DESC is back with another "Nattgibb". Last nattgibb was very successful and now when the exams are over we plan to take Inferno Online by storm again.

What is nattgibb? Nattgibb is when you gather towards the evening and play games til morning. We will be playing at the internet café Inferno Online Stockholm (IO), you get to use one of their computers during the nattgibb. IO also sells food and snacks during the whole night.

Price DESC will sponsor 30 seats and first come first served is applied, so make sure to register! If you wanna join but did not make it for the first 30 or you are not a Chapter member, you can still join but you have to pay the entry fee yourself (150kr).

This Tuesday we are charging our batteries for the coming exam period. Therefore we will be doing a completely normal board-game evening with nothing special, except for Fika. META on Tuesday at 17:17. Be there!

Because of the covid situation we were thinking of having the SSSB-race at stadion. We will be doing laps with fellow computer science students until we reach 5 km.

D-Dagen is an annual career fair organized by the Computer Science Chapter at KTH in Stockholm. The purpose of the fair is to bring students and the industry together. During D-Dagen, companies and students will be able to make contact with each other and make valuable connections. You might even find your next employer during D-Dagen. D-Dagen 2020 occurs on November 5 and will take place digitally. If you are on KTH campus at Vallhallavägen, it will also be possible to visit the D-Dagen lounge and participate in smaller competitions and events. This is a great opportunity you do not want to miss!

On September 29 a DM will be held remotely at 17:30, in preparation for the Budget Chapter Meeting.

At the DM, the board will, among other things, respond to all the motions submitted for the Chapter Meeting and review a matter regarding the closing of META during D-Dagen.

On October 8th Budget-SM will be held remotely at 17:30. The reserve date is the 13th of October at 17:30, which will also be held remotely. The last day for submitting motions is the 24th of september at 23:59.

On SM the budget for operation year 2021 will be determined. Furthermore, we will be reviewing the 2019 operation year reports and summaries as well as discussing the discharge of the D-directorate of 2019 and their duties. Finally, we will discuss motions and propositions and hold a by-election for several posts.

Hello hop in the corona cabin!

Now it's time for the spring code, which will be held at Osqvik on 26 September.

But "then what is the Spring Code?" asks the tired computer scientist. The Spring Code is an event with both play and celebration. In the afternoon we will swim, chill and bathe. Towards the evening twig, we move on to a party that you want to forget late.

It is BYOB that applies, but the spring ball army will offer sausages with bread, snacks and a badge to everyone who wants to participate!

The ticket release will take place on 9/9 at 12:34. The link will appear in the event.

If you feel that you want to stay overnight, you will be able to click on it in the ticket release form. First come first served. Otherwise you can always camp.

Remember to follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations. Do not attend the event if you are or have been ill within the last week. We will try to stay outdoors as much as possible.
