Unfortunately, events have not necessarily developed in an advantageous way. Because of this, the day-order has, sadly, arrived a whole forty minutes late. Additionally, report forms for functionaries were never sent out.

I write this purely in the interest of being as transparent as possible in how the minutes are handled. Write me if you have any questions about this!

Next Monday (20th May) the International Committee will be hosting an incredible 🌍 Study Abroad Pub 🌍 in META, starting at 17h17! Although there will be delicious food and drinks for everyone, those considering going abroad in the future will have an even better evening: 🌠

Organized in collaboration 🤝 with KTH's outgoing mobility office at EECS 🏛️ (who will be represented there), this pub is a unique opportunity 💎 to learn more about exchange studies 🔄 and life in other countries.

Whether you're looking for a more tropical destination ☀️🌴 or a healthy dose of culture shocks 🧧🐉, this is your chance to hang out with students who previously studied abroad, hear about their experiences ✨, ask questions ⁉️, and just mingle. You can also chat with an EECS International Coordinator about the process and how to apply 📝.

Finally, even if you're not sure if you want to go on exchange, you should come anyway - it's still a pub open to all! 🪩 We will be selling dinner 🍽️ and the bar will feature several special thematic drinks 🍹 (alcohol-free alternatives available). There might even be a limited amount of patches for sale from previous IN events...

It's time for Robinsonpub on Wednesday!! Come eat and have it cozy while DKM runs internal drama

It's time for SM again in the section but the hungry computer scientists can't sit through an entire SM without something yummy to snack on! So that's why we in the baking committee have to provide them with whale-themed goodies (ask a swedish speaker if you wonder where all the whales are coming from 🐳) to save SM! 🤩

This time we will be baking in the kitchen in Nymble on Wednesday 15/5 at 17:00 until we are done. Everyone is invited even if you never baked before😁

On Tuesday it's time again! 🐸 Groda is holding an event with Tag Monkeys 🐒 where anyone can come and get help patching and mending torn clothes (and other things) 🤩 There will also be an opportunity to exchange clothes and of course fika 😋 and good company ❤️

So what are you waiting for 🐸 Come as you are and bring those really nice pants with holes in the crotch or the shirt with sleeves that are way too long, and we'll fix it together 👍

Hello Chapter!

Are you a chapter member currently in your fifth year of the program or second year of the master? Then you know as well as I do that all good things in this world must come to an end, and in this particular case it is yours and mine time on campus. Now that this end is approaching, it would certainly be nice to end it with a bang! 🎉 🎉

We are therefore a bunch of fifth-year students who are organising a graduation party where all students who are doing their fifth year at the computer engineering programme are welcome, regardless of whether you are graduating this year or are a little behind in your studies. Even those who are coming from the open programme or studying the second year of a computer science master's program are welcome to sign up for the party.

The gasque is scheduled for June 1st and will be in META. Registration can be found here: https://dsekt.se/d19-sittning. Do note that the event will be primarly in Swedish.

Last Last week, Projekt groda with tag monkeys had its first intro event: Fix up old boring or torn clothes.

Tuesday, May 14 at 18.00 the favorite will be repeated during QN, Fix up old clothes 2.0! There will be the opportunity to paint🎨, sew and restyle your old clothes 👕, but also to create your own punk badges to sew on!

It's certainly not something you want to miss!

Early in April, the chapter bought a second chapter car. The car is named LUSEN and is of model Citroën C Zero. It can now be booked at bokning.datasektionen.se. Read the agreement when you book!

With this, the agreement for CERISE has also been updated. Check it out if you are thinking of booking CERISE!

Hello hello!

Every Saturday from 2 pm to 3 pm we have booked KTH Hallen for the rest of the semester. The idea is that we do some activity/sport for an hour. Everyone is welcome! The primary goal is having fun, not to play super competitively.

This week (Saturday 11th) we will play volleyball for 1 hour.

I will try to vary the sports in the following weeks. And please come with suggestions for what we can do!!!

This Saturday (11/5), the long-awaited Grand Final for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 🎤🎵 will take place in Malmö 🇸🇪 and be broadcast 📡 to the whole world - including our beloved Chapter Hall, META! Naturally, this means that the International Committee 🌍 and the Equality Committee ️️️⚖️ will be hosting a grand watch party in META! 📺🎉

Join us for the grand finale at 20:30 with loads of free snacks! 🍪🍿 We'll be watching the performances, debating which songs are the best, and picking our own META Winner 🥇🏆 (which, let's be honest, is a much more prestigious honor than any the "official" jury could possibly give).

The elections will take place during Val-SM on Tuesday 21:st of May. Nominations close at 2024-05-14 23:59 and the last date to accept a nomination is 2024-05-20 23:59. You can find the election site here.

Sommar-VM has just taken place which means that there are many newly elected officials! As per tradition, this occassion will be celebrated with the traditional Skiftes sitting!

Skiftes will be in META on Friday the 17th of May and the theme will be Spränga KTH. The sitting is scheduled to start at 19:00, but officials are welcome to join the pre-hang at 18:00!

Note that current as well as newly elected officials will have priority for tickets to Skiftes, as per usual.
