The year was 1983 and a new education had been created at KTH. The first computer science students were looking for like-minded people and community, and so Konglig Datasektionen was born on the 7th of October that same year. Since then, the chapter has been celebrated every five years with a big celebration.

The anniversary only happens every five years and is likely the biggest event that happens during your time in the chapter. To celebrate all of our wonderful projects, committees, and members, this fall it is time to celebrate that the section has been around for a whole 40 years, and it will be bigger and better than ever!

We are starting with a secret spectacle in the spring for those of you who just can't wait until the fall. The birthday weeks in September and October will then be packed with fun events. This includes a more formal banquet worthy of the king himself, and ends with the coolest and most outrageous final party you can imagine. The rest of these weeks will consist of events where we collaborate with other parts of the chapter.

We kick off on 25/9, have the banquette on 30/9, and end with the slutfesten on 14/10. So mark these dates on your calendar and follow us on social media @djubileet to not miss out on ticket releases and other cool stuff.

On the 16th of Febuary, our chapter hall META, will be closed due to MBD, which is Medias carrer fair.

The locale may still be accessible for studying, but you will have to be prepare for some loudness and that you might be asked to move if you are to use it.

Hi! Every Sunday from 14 to 15 we have booked KTH Hallen for the rest of the semester. This week we will play volleyball. I will try to vary the sports in the following weeks. And please come with suggestions for what we can do!!!

Hello hellå! It's finally time for META to start Monday cleaning. Normally it's only first year students whom are allowed to come clean, but since the nØllegroups are now pretty much disintegrated everyone is allowed to attend. During Monday cleaning we return META to its glory days by restoring the kitchen and the microwave ovens. It usually doesn't take more than 45 minutes and the work isn't that demanding.

Why should you want to help? What an exellent question!

1. You get fika
2. You will learn some META tips and tricks
3. If you clean twice this spring you will get to attend the Clean-gasque for free (OBS. alcohol not included in the free entry) a. Cleaning only once means you get to attend the Clean-gasque half-free.

KTH actually requires us to care for META, so attend Monday cleaning and help! Otherwise they'll take our microwave ovens. The Clean-gasque, for those of you who don't know, is a gasque (20/5-2023) with a much too large budget, where a lot of fun stuff happens. So make sure to META-clean twice to attend it for free!

Monday cleaning is every Monday at 17:17 until the Clean-gasque!

We meet in META and then find an empty seminar room.

On February 9th Extra Chapter Meeting will be held in D1 at 17:30 on Campus Valhallavägen. The reserve date is the 13th of February at Campus Valhallavägen.

Motions dealing with the acoustics in META, CPR training for chapter functionaries and active chapter members, the election process for the Union Council representatives and the budget for Blums will be discussed. In addition to this, a proposition for revision of the budget will also be discussed.

At the chapter meeting, by-elections will be held for the vacant board positions, Program Responsible Student, Auditor, Student Protection Officer, Speaker and Quapellmästare.

Lastly, the second reading will be held for the motion “En ny Era för Kårfullmäktige”.
