Soon it's time for one of the most 💯hyped💯 dinner party here at META! On May 18th, it's going down, and we METAdorerna present the theme: 🔫Cowboys🤠 VS 🛸Aliens👽.

There have been many brave cleaners during the academic year who have earned discounts on their tickets; those who have cleaned once(1️⃣) need only pay 50% of their ticket, and those who have cleaned twice(2️⃣) get a 100% discount ( == a 💸FREE🤑 ticket). NOTE: (Alcohol is not included).

Every Saturday from 2 pm to 3 pm we have booked KTH Hallen for the rest of the semester. The idea is that we do some activity/sport for an hour. Everyone is welcome! The primary goal is having fun, not to play super competitively.

This week (Saturday 4th) we will play floorball for 1 hour.

I will try to vary the sports in the following weeks. And please come with suggestions for what we can do!!!

We in the Study Committee will hold FOUR (4) tentastugor where you write a pretend exam that we have put together. If you want, you are welcome to bring your own exam for another course if you need some peer pressure to get started.

There will of course be fika!

It’s time for our brand new ancient (and honoured) tradition - DIMK (Data’s Internal Mastery in Kubb) 🤯

The event is held in Ugglevikskällan on the ** 18th of May**, from 2pm to 5pm, where all chapter members are welcome. There will be hot dogs 🌭, chips 🥔, soft drinks 🥤 and beer 🍺(<2.25 %) to buy, but otherwise it is BYOB. In addition to chilling out ⛱️, you will be able to compete for Data's most prestigious title - Kubbmaster! 😎 And if the honour isnt't enough, you might get a patch to brag about 😱

Sew-ster is confused and thought it was Walpurgis night tomorrow. Apparently it's today, so no sewin circle tonight.

It's Tuesday! Which means that it is sewing circle! sew-ster will sit in the meta from 18.00, so come and join with ovve, coat or other to sew:3

On May 11th, the chapter's song leader invites you to the year's most reasonable and sought-after lunch party, the Punch Lunch! Punch Lunch is a "fulsittning" in a classic spirit with good food, punch, swedish nubbe and lots of singing (mostly in swedish). It will also become one of the chapter's most distinguished traditions! So you don't want to miss this!

If you think that the party only starts with Punch Lunch, you can later in the evening go to "Squalp" and hang out. If you think the that the Punch Lunch is enough party for a day you can stay in META for the International Commité / Equality Commités movie night which starts at 16:00!

The dress code is of course Ovve and songbook. (If you don't own a songbook, you will be able to buy it at the party.)

Friday May 3 live from META we’ll drop a theme, and we’ll hold a tutorial 🧑‍🏫 for the game engine Unity there at the same time

If you’ve never made a game before you can just show up then and you’ll learn 🧐 (with fika). As a Computer Scientist you already have the programming ability needed to make a game, and remember that this is all for fun and we encourage everyone to join! 🎉

The Directorate officially invites you to the motion-writing workshop of the period.

The motion-writing workshop is the best opportunity you have to discuss your motions before the Revisions-SM with the board. A motion that has been discussed at a motion-writing workshop has about a 19% higher probability of not being criticized to pieces by the board at the SM, so it is strongly recommended that you bring yours along.

This time, we will try a new format for the workshops, which is that they will be held in META. The board will sit and be available to discuss motions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Thursday May 2nd and Friday May 3rd.

Fika will be provided!

On Thursday (tomorrow!) it's once again time for rehearsals with the CS Chapter's choir Scala! 🎶

We are located in V01 (not V1!!) at 18-20 every Thursday. Everyone is warmly welcome! ❤️

On Thursday we will sing a song in English, namely Auld Lang Syne (a.k.a. the melody to Sista punchvisan 🥃). It is a song we have never sung in the choir before, so it's equally new to everyone!

**Do you have boring or torn clothes? **How lucky that Projekt Groda in collaboration with Tag Monkeys will have its first-ever event, where you can spice up clothes with color and make your own punk badges to sew on!

What kind of event is it? 👕🎨🪡 Don't throw away clothes just because they're boring or torn, come and give them new life instead! Projekt Frog together with Tag Monkeys will have a cozy event where you can bring old or torn clothes to spruce them up! There will be the opportunity to paint and sew clothes 🪡 🎨 but also make your own punk badges to put on. And yes, of course there will be "fika"🍪🍩

But what is Project Frog? 🐸 In swedish it's called "Project Groda". It is a recently started sustainability initiative that aims to make the section greener. Our primary task is to review the section from a climate perspective, but we also want to make it easy for the section and for all of you to think more green.

**And what are Tag Monkeys? **🐒 Tag Monkeys is the Computer Section's craft committee that organizes fun craft events for everyone to attend. Sometimes they also hang out in META on Tuesdays together with QN.
