**What is dÅre?? ** dÅre is an annual ski trip which the Data chapter organises for all members in conjunction with Skistar's Student Skiweek. We travel together to Åre for 5 fantastic days of skiing, partying and hanging out with friends. Since it is during Skistar's Student Skiweek we get some discounts on the costs of housing and ski rental and there will also be students from many other universities there. Making for a great week!

Hello chapter! Some of you may have noticed the new poster on the keep-fridge where it says items are removed after a week now. This is not a mistake and FROM NOW ON things that are over a week old will be moved to the free-fridge on Mondays. Because of this it's SUPER IMPORTANT that you write your name and date on everything you put in because otherwise it will disappear (read: I will eat it)! I also urge you to throw away spoiled items in the free-fridge so it doesn't get unnecessarily cluttered.

IMPORTANT: This will ONLY be managed by METAdorerna during the Monday cleanings so don't go around and remove things yourself.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to remind you that the Monday cleaning events will be starting again as of next Monday. As per usual the reception groups will be responsible for the first couple of cleaning events but everyone is welcome to come and clean for their half-ticket to Städfesten (the cleaning party). 🎉

For those of you who don't know what the Monday cleaning events are; those who want to can come to META at 17:17 on most mondays to clean our chapter premises. As a reward for this you get a half-ticket (a 50% price reduction) to the cleaning party, an absolutely amazing gasque (party) at the end of the school year! This of course means that you go for free if you clean two times before the party! 🤑

METAcraft is KTH's largest Minecraft community, shared between the chapters of Computer Science and Media Technology. It makes a grand return this year with a completely unique survival experience, with brand new never-before-seen terrain and structure generation!

📣 The application to the PROJECT GROUP for STUDS 2025 is OPEN! 📣

Are you a Master's student looking for a fun and slightly different course? Then STUDS 2025 is for you!

But, for those of you who missed it, what is STUDS? Studs is a project, and a course of 15 credits, where around 30 master's students get the chance to visit interesting companies in the IT industry during the course of the year. A typical event usually takes place in the company's premises, where you get to share interesting information about the company, eat good food, participate in activities and make contacts.

The project then ends with a study trip! Where the study tour goes depends on how many events we have during the year and what the group thinks! Anyone studying a master's degree and a program linked to the EECS school are welcome and encouraged to apply.

METAspexet has now opened applications! METAspexet is a project jointly run by the Computer Science Chapter and the Chapter for Media Technology, and we organize the WORLD'S BEST SPEX.

Every year, we usually have around 130 happy spex participants across 14 different groups, working together to put on spex performances in May.

We have a bit of everything from stage groups and music groups like our band, to graphic design, sound and lighting technology and much more. We also have our own party group, SpexM, which organizes parties and other fun activities for the rest of the spex.

This Sunday (22/9), the International Committees 🌍 for the Computer Science (D), Media Technology (Me), Electrical Engineering (E) and Medical Technology (MiT) Chapters will be collaborating to host a one-of-a-kind event in Osqvik 🪵, the Student Union's cabin out in the archipelago 🏝️. We are looking for both international 🌐 and Swedish 🇸🇪 participants!

Join us for a fun night of partying 🕺, playing cool games 🃏, enjoying a lively atmosphere 🎶 and overall hanging out with nice people 🤙. This is a great opportunity to get to know other Elektro ⚡, MedTek 🩻, Media 🎥, and Data 🤓 students! You decide whether to stay overnight or not, as well as what activities you want to participate in.
