📣 APPLICATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT GROUP FOR STUDS 2025 IS OPEN! 📣

Are you a current or future Master's student looking for a fun and slightly different course? Maybe you also want to work on your leadership skills and have a little more responsibility? Then the management group for STUDS 2025 is something for you!

But, for those of you who missed it, what is STUDS? Studs is a project, and a course of 15 credits, where around 30 master's students get the chance to visit interesting companies in the IT industry during the course of the year. The project then ends with a study trip! Where the study trip goes depends on how many events we have during the year and what the group thinks!

In the management group, you get to take responsibility for your own group, develop your leadership skills, and make more contacts in both the business world and with other students. Anyone studying a master's degree and a program linked to the EECS school are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Since too few have signed up for the exam room tomorrow (Monday), the Study Board will not actively hold an exam room, however, room E52 is still booked and we have exams for Numme, Dtek, and Envarre left, for those who still want to study. After the weekends performances it's now time to kick start next years spex. The application for METAspexet 2025s chief group is now open! All chapter members have the opportunity to apply. Would you like to lead production in one of our biggest projects? Do not hesitate! Visit dsekt.se/chef.

(Note to all my dear international students reading this: Because the spex is a theater production in Swedish the chief group is expected to be able to communicate in Swedish. If you cannot speak Swedish but still want to participate in the spex I highly suggest applying for a group at the beginning of next semester.)

Sup!! School will soon be coming to an end and summer break is in sight! It also sadly means that there won't be any Tuesday sewing as usual. So, tomorrow is the last Tuesday sewing circle for the school year, so come and bring everything you want to sew!

I will be in the meta from 17.30 and if the weather is nice we can sit out in the sun with sewing fika

The Election Chapter Meeting will be held tomorrow (21 may), and with that people will be elected to 5 different posts through a filling election. This means that the Election Committee has interviewed the candidates and brought forward the election documents with further information about the candidates. Remember that the Board of Studies has exam lodges tomorrow (Tuesday) and the day after tomorrow (Wednesday)!!! We are in E52 both days, 13-17 o' clock. Registration (https://dsekt.se/tentastuga) is not mandatory but good for estimating the amount of fika!

After a long wait, it's finally here! On Wednesday, Mitt på Campus-dbuggen, the most local newspaper on KTH Campus, will come with scoop on everything between Alba Nova and KTH Entré. It is also rumoured to contain an exclusive interview with Pantmannen!

dbuggen will be available at Prylmångleriet outside META on Wednesdays, starting the 22:th of May. It will also be released on https://dbu.gg later.

This year's reception is getting closer and closer. But we won't be able to do everything by ourselves. We need YOU 🫵😮 as dOsq for Mottagningen 2024!

What does a dOsq do? It's quite simple really, you help us out with a little bit of everything. It ranges from being an extra "actor" during events, hyping up nØllan during their Lunchrave or holding a pre-party with some other dOsq. You can also come with your own ideas on how you could helpl 🤯.

Hello chapter!

Unfortunately, events have not necessarily developed in an advantageous way. Because of this, the day-order has, sadly, arrived a whole forty minutes late. Additionally, report forms for functionaries were never sent out.

I write this purely in the interest of being as transparent as possible in how the minutes are handled. Write me if you have any questions about this!

Hello! Now, after a two-week paus, it's time again, Tuesday's sewing circle! Bring your overall, coat or something else and come and join syjunta in Meta from 18.00!

(psst. Project Frog, "Groda" has a fix clothes event in the meta at the sime time, look in there if you want to sew clothes instead of the oven)

Do you have a complaint about a course? An opinion about your studies? Comments on the Computing Program? Leave all these and more at Complaint-lodge this Wednesday (May 15). We will be sitting in META and we have fika.

The Study Board's first Tentastuga for P4 is tomorrow! It is from 13 - 17 o' clock and will be held in U21 (Where is it? see KTH Places: https://www.kth.se/places/room/id/de8a7fa7-90dc-4ae7-ab75-282b6020d8a5 ) There will be fika! Bring a pen and eraser (or not, if you're so daring), and we'll bring the exams!

It's time for SM again in the section but the hungry computer scientists can't sit through an entire SM without something yummy to snack on! So that's why we in the baking committee have to provide them with whale-themed goodies (ask a swedish speaker if you wonder where all the whales are coming from 🐳) to save SM! 🤩

This time we will be baking in the kitchen in Nymble on Wednesday 15/5 at 17:00 until we are done. Everyone is invited even if you never baked before😁

Last Last week, Projekt groda with tag monkeys had its first intro event: Fix up old boring or torn clothes.

Tuesday, May 14 at 18.00 the favorite will be repeated during QN, Fix up old clothes 2.0! There will be the opportunity to paint🎨, sew and restyle your old clothes 👕, but also to create your own punk badges to sew on!

It's certainly not something you want to miss!

An aditional official has now dismissed themselves of their duties and therefore we are opening up a filling election for an Election Committee member (calendar year). Early in April, the chapter bought a second chapter car. The car is named LUSEN and is of model Citroën C Zero. It can now be booked at bokning.datasektionen.se. Read the agreement when you book!
