The reception is now taking applications for staff, however you need to be fluent in Swedish to be in the staff since the new students will be talking Swedish. All roles require a lot of communication with the new students.

Hi chapter! Ångdomen in KTH Library is currently being renovated, meaining that noise may spill into META. The louder projects are scheduled to 07.00 - 09.00. They give a heads-up to weeks 5 - 6 and weeks 10 - 11 in particular, but it should be possible to study in META even during those timeslots.

It's time to apply for D-Forum 2026's management team/project team/day staff/aspning!

D-Forum is an annual conference between Sweden's largest computer science chapters, and will be held at KTH in the autumn of 2026. The conference consists of a weekend in October or November where the boards of the chapters gather and exchange both knowledge and culture. This takes the form of discussion sessions and tours, but also gasques and more fun activities. Being part of the project working group means taking care of all the logistics, cooking, dinners, bookings, etc. for this conference. The work will basically be centred around one weekend in October/November, and will not be particularly intensive outside of that weekend.

The easiest way to apply is via https://dsekt.se/dforum26. You have until 16 January to fill in the form.

The honorary delta is the section's finest badge of merit and is awarded to the chapter members who have particularly meritoriously worked for the chapter on a non-profit basis.

The Great Delta is one of the chapter's most important badges and is awarded to chapter members who have done a big achievement for the chapter, thus accomplished a great individual feat.

In accordance with §6.4 Brådskande ärenden, I exercise the powers of the D-rektoratet to issue a D-rektiv in accordance with §6.9 D-rektiv regarding the life and livelihood of the chapter members.

First and foremost, I would like to say that it has been an honour and a pleasure to serve the section as its chairperson this year, and something for which I will be grateful for the rest of my life. It has been an incredible year with a lot of changes that will hopefully pave the way for many improvements in the section. Many of the issues that have arisen have been both difficult and complex, often without clear paths forward, and in such difficult situations, it has always been this mindset that has guided me.

The D-rektiv therefore reads as follows:

"Always do what you think will be best, and as long as you can stand by it, it will probably not be wrong. "

The only thing in life you can't get more of is time, and that's why I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved in the section this year. It is only thanks to you, who so selflessly give your time and energy to improve and manage the section for all its members, that it is what it is today. No matter how small or large a role you have played, you have contributed to the development of our section. On a personal level, however, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this year's board for the fantastic work they have done and the incredible cohesion they have created this year.

In the coming years, I wish all former, current and new students on the computer science programme the best of luck in continuing to develop the section together. The relatively short time spent at KTH is, for most people, a unique opportunity to experience student culture during their formative years, and I therefore urge everyone to seize this opportunity and give student life a chance. The worst that can happen is that you don't like it, and then you can just stop. As a wise man once said many years ago:

"It's great fun! You only get a chance like this once in a lifetime."

Hi chapter! Right now there is no party leader for the partition Scala, the chapter's choir. Scala exists for the purpose of arranging regular choir meet-ups to encourage choiring in the chapter.

The partition will become inactive on December 29th.

Hello chapter!

The year is coming to an end and that means the financial year is also coming to an end. In order to catch up with the accounting, and to ensure that all purchases from this year are uploaded this year, we will introduce a receipt stop in two phases.

The first stop will take place on the 10th of December. All purchases made before 2025-12-01 must be uploaded to cashflow by the 10th. The second stop will take place on 20th December. All purchases must be uploaded and no new expenses are to be made. Exceptions can be made if you contact us in advance and have a good reason for making the purchase. If you have expenses with errors that need to be fixed, the deadline for doing this is 2025-12-20. If you have expenses that are flagged, you need to edit the expense for the flag to disappear.
