Hello chapter!

The year is coming to an end and that means the financial year is also coming to an end. In order to catch up with the accounting, and to ensure that all purchases from this year are uploaded this year, we will introduce a receipt stop in two phases.

The first stop will take place on the 10th of December. All purchases made before 2025-12-01 must be uploaded to cashflow by the 10th. The second stop will take place on 20th December. All purchases must be uploaded and no new expenses are to be made. Exceptions can be made if you contact us in advance and have a good reason for making the purchase. If you have expenses with errors that need to be fixed, the deadline for doing this is 2025-12-20. If you have expenses that are flagged, you need to edit the expense for the flag to disappear.

Hello Chapter!

As many of you probably know, the economy is a bit coco-bananas🍌 right now. The inflation and recession has made every pricier 😭. This even includes the price of everyone's favorite choclate, Marabou 🍫. This had strangled the budget for the chapter a bit and a lot of committees has less money to ~~play with~~ use. This even includes us 😭, Prylmångleriet. HOWEVER to help the chapter through these rough times (under some protest) we will increase the price for our patches, stickers, etc.

BUT IT'S NOT ALL BAD!! Until the end of the year, the prices ✨WON'T✨ increase! We will have the same good deals that you all love. 🤩

A challenge is released every weekday in December until Christmas Eve at 12:15 CET and your task is to solve it as fast as possible! The challenges are cryptic puzzles, hacking and other computer science related things! The calendar also has an intriguing story that unfolds as you solve each window.

The winner receives the title Bäst på att DATA™. For those who solve all windows and does it the quickest will receive dJulkalendern-themed prizes!

Something big will happen week 48... so big that it reaches all the way to Flemingsberg!😱😱😱 That's right my friends, during week 48, the Qulture Committee (QN) of the CS chapter, CS' E-Sports Community (DESC), and the Games Group (SPRUPPEN) at the Engineers' Chapter of Flemingsberg will hold a never-before-seen* MEGA COLLAB together!💥💥💥

The thing that's going to happen is that all committees involved will host their ordinary events, except that we all prepare for many more participants than usual. The idea is to combine our events into one big "Mega event", where members of each committee visits the events of the other committees during the three days of the collab.

whattttt????? Is the Computer Science Chapter getting a new official dance????

For those who missed Budget-SM Day 2 and proposition 7.3 “Computer scientists dance too little”: it’s true. Getting absolutely mogged on the dancefloor by Media (with their Jumpstyle) and other Chapters is not okay, so we’re putting our foot down. We need a chapter dance that outclasses everyone else.

Best of all, YOU get to influence what it will be. That brings us to stage 1 of the “CS Chapters DanceRevolution” project: ✨song selection✨

From all songs submitted, some of them will be chosen based on their connection to CS Chapters culture, originality, choreography potential, and (reasonable) appropriateness. A new form will then be sent out where you can vote for the winner among those songs. After that, we’ll start choreographing to the winning song, more info on that when we get there. The result will be stamped as "the official CS Chapters dance".

For those of you in the loop, the time has come to rewrite the climate policy yet again. An important step of ensuring this policy will be good is to discuss it well before SM. As a first step I invite you to a discussion on the sustainability aspects of chapter pubs.
