As the title suggests you can now nominate friends and strangers alike for the upcoming elections during Winter-VM! Winter-VM will be held during the 11:th of November from 17:30 in D1 (most likely). You can find the election site here.

During Winter-VM a lot of chapter officials will be elected: from board members to club leaders. Do your duty as a citizen in the democratic society by spreading the word that nominations have opened! Be an active participant in the democratic process by nominating a fellow computer science student as an official, whether they are qualified or just to spam their mail inbox! Everything raises awareness!

Good morning! The form for booking META in P2 is now open. If you plan on booking META during a friday or saturday, please use the form at dsekt.se/boka-meta, otherwise book at bokning.datasektionen.se.

The form is a requirement for friday/saturday until November 16. All bookings for P2 after which are done through the bookings site.

In 2027, THS will be celebrating their 125th anniversiary as the student union at KTH. To mark this extraordinary occasion they want to arrange an unforgettable experience that leaves a mark on all KTH students. THS wants to arrange an anniversiary that celebrates the student life we have here at KTH, and make it possible for new ideas and initiatives to take root.

As such, THS is looking for students who want to contribute to realising the vision for a great 125th anniversiary. As part of THS' anniversiary planning committee, you get an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, try out project management, and influence one of the student union's largest projects.

Are you craving snow and skiing? Don’t worry, because soon it’s finally time for dÅre 2026! dÅre is the Computer Science Chapter’s annual ski trip to Åre (which about 96.4% of the time actually goes to Åre). This year will be the biggest dÅre yet, as we’re gathering 144 excited computer science students for 5 unforgettable days at Skistar Student Skiweek with skiing, après-ski, sauna hangouts, and much more! The trip starts late on Saturday, January 10, with the bus heading north, and we’ll be back on Thursday, January 15. This is something you definitely don’t want to miss!

This year we’re offering two types of tickets: with transport (4500 SEK) and without transport (3430 SEK). If you choose a ticket without transport, you’ll need to arrange your own travel to and from Åre. Both tickets include accommodation, ski pass, badge, and dÅre merch. Prices are preliminary and subject to change.

Depending on how active you are during the trip, we’ll subsidize the cost by up to 600 SEK. More info on this will follow.

Priority will be given to members of the Computer Science Chapter. If spots remain, tickets may be offered to friends or partners (as long as they are students).

So, what’s MegaGem®? It’s a fast-paced and competitive card game, designed by Jane Streeters themselves, that simulates elements of markets and trading. You’ll get the chance to learn and play the game directly with Jane Street representatives – and we promise, it’s both exciting and a lot of fun! :zap:

It is with great pleasure I inform you, all my dear METAlogians (CS studetns, Media students and eventual other META inhabitants) that on Monday the 22nd of September, 17:17 we will finally be having this school year's very first Monday cleaning! . 🧹🧼

To those of you who have just these past few weeks become aquainted with our dearest chapter hall, you might be thinking: Monday cleaning? Sign me up!! How do I join that? 👀

Worry not! I can explain. The Monday Cleaning is when we METAlogians come together and fullfill META's most honorable duty: to make sure that our chapter hall is ✨ fresh and clean ✨ for all of its inhabitants.

Every Monday (more or less) at 17:17, a group of brave METAlogians get together to have fika, listen to a 🎶 Certified Banger™, and make sure that everything in META is right and proper!

Chief responsible for the first Monday cleanings are the Computer Science reception's nØllegrupper, but all METAlogians are of course welcome to join the battle for META's cleanness! ✊

And for the best part: you don't just get honor for partaking in the Monday cleanings, but even a half-ticket to Städfesten for free! The systemsgroup is responsible for building and maintaining the chapters computer systems. It is a good oppertunity to learn about the whole development process and build something that people acctualy use.

We meet in computer lab Orange (E-building) every Thursday at 17. This Thursday (18/9) we will have a workshop about our infrastructure and our systems.
