BLUMS 2026 IS HERE! 🏐🏖️🍹 It's time for DKM's annual beach volleyball tournament, and this year we're teaming up with MKM!💽 (Could this be the best Blums yet??)

We'll be at Stockholm Beach Club, so an indoor beach, basically.🌴 The tournament itself is only part of the fun -- we'll drink and play and roll around in the sand like dogs do (optional). In the evening, there will be a dance floor with DJ!🪩💃

In the tournament, you compete in teams of 6, but you're very welcome to join the event even if you're not competing! There will be padel, table tennis, basketball and beach football!🏓🏀⚽

OBS🗣️ EVERYONE is welcome to this event, so invite your friend and your dentist etc.

Tickets will be released during Friday's Release Party at 22:00 via the form above. There will be about 120 tournament spots that will be drawn from those who registered during the first 10 minutes. You can also buy a regular ticket without the tournament🍹 Up to three drink tickets will also be available for purchase.

Prices are not fully confirmed but will probably be: Tournament ticket: 200 SEK Standard ticket: 150 SEK Drink ticket: 49 SEK each

What are the two best things in the world? Surely BLUMS🏖️ and 💃FRIDAY-CLUB💃 What would happen if you combined them? We'll find out on Friday along with Medias Klubbmästeri!😍

🎟️TICKETS🎟️ for Blums -- DKM and MKM's beach volleyball tournament -- will drop during the club. Blums takes place at Stockholm Beach Club, meaning you can drink, play volleyball and play around in the sand like it isn't the middle of winter⁉️☀️

The tickets will drop 22:00 through a form that will be linked from the actual Blums event on facebook (coming soon). There will be around 120 tournament-tickets, which will be randomly distributed among the people that sign up in the first 10 minutes. You can also buy a regular entrance ticket not including tournament🍹 Up to 3 drink-tickets can also be bought in advance.

The club is this Friday, but Blums itself will be on February 21st!

Prices are yet to be finalized but will probably be: Tournament-ticket: 200 kr Ticket excluding tournament: 150 kr Drink-ticket: 49 kr

On Saturday, January 24, 2025, the International Committee 🌍 will be hosting a unique 🇳🇴 Welcome to Norway Gasque 🇳🇴, with dinner 🍲 between 18h and 22h, and following that an after-party 🪩 from 22h to 01h for everyone interested. We warmly welcome both Swedish 🇸🇪 and International 🪐 participants (the event will be held in English 🇬🇧 with some songs in Swedish). Anyone from Data 🤓 or Media 📽️ may attend, as well as their +1s! 🫂

We were tired of eating the Swedish specialties (meatballs and potatoes) so we're heading to Norway 🇳🇴 for this gasque, 🕵️ a traditional Swedish student culture banquet. Hello dear CS Chapter! It's me, Alvin, aka Ettan that's joined literally everything, aka one of DESC's PR people, back again with a completely INSAne announcement! The thing is that Christmas is on the horizon once again, which means another** Christmas LAN🎄💻** (hereafter named DESCmas) with DESC, our very own gaming committee 🎮!! You ABSOLUTELY don't want to miss this! 🔥🔥🔥

All you will need is your own computer (doesn't even have to be a laptop since we offer transportation (Transportation is at your own risk. We unfortunately cannot take responsibility for any damage, so pack PROPERLY)) and a good mood! we will play games like Overwatch, Blood on the Clock Tower and Gartic Phone together and hold tournaments in Overwatch, Smash, Minecraft, and more! (MetaCraft collab NO WAY!)

We have also booked Annexet in Nymble where there will be sleeping spots, and we will serve food and non-alcoholic drinks during the LAN! Rumor has it that we have an exclusive patch... But take that last one with a pinch of salt, rumors are not reliable after all
