Nominera till THS Kamratstipendie // Nominate to THS Fellow Scholarship

Känner du någon som är en riktigt bra kamrat? Varje år delas ett kamratstipendie ut av THS. Nu har du möjligheten att nominera en eller flera personer som studerar Datateknik, och som är en god kamrat för dig och andra.

Nomineringar lämnas in till Datasektionens styrelse genom detta formulär senast den 12:e april. Styrelsen kommer utifrån de inkomna nomineringarna att utse tre medlemmar som blir nominerade till THS styrelse.

Kamratstipendiet instiftades 1912 för att utse och belöna goda kamrater vid var och en av studentkårens sektioner. Varje sektion har rätt att nominera upp till tre medlemmar som delar på prissumman. Priset är på avkastningen från Stiftelsen Tekniska Högskolans i Stockholm Stipendiefonder och ligger vanligtvis mellan 40 000 och 60 000. Priset delas sedan jämt mellan sektionerna (runt 2 000 – 3 000 kr per sektion), vartefter den fördelas jämt mellan de studenter som har blivit nominerade av sektionen. Det är i slutändan KTHs stipendieråd som fattar beslut om vilka som tilldelas stipendiet. Den eller de som tilldelas stipendiet kommer att bli meddelade efter att KTHs stipendieråd sammanträder den 29:e maj.

Do you know someone who is a really good friend? Every year the Fellow Scholarship is handed out from THS. Now you have the opportunity to nominate one or more persons who are studying Computer Science, and is a good fellow/friend to you and to others.

Nominations are submitted to the chapters’s board through this form before 12th April. Based on the submitted nominations the board will appoint three members being nominated to THS board.

The Fellow Scholarship was established in 1912 to identify and reward good fellows at each of the student union chapters. Each chapter has the right to nominate up to three members who share the prize money. The price is the revenue from the Foundation THS Scholarship Funds and is usually between 40 000 and 60 000. The price is then divided evenly between the chapters (around 2000-3000 per section), after which it is distributed evenly between those students who have been nominated from the chapter. It is ultimately KTH’s Scholarship Council who decides who are awarded the scholarship. The person or persons awarded the scholarship will be announced after the KTH’s Scholarship council meet on 29th May.
