HQ’d in Stockholm with offices in the UK and France, Videoplaza is Europe’s leading video ad serving specialist. We help publishers better monetise their online video content using our proprietary built for purpose video ad serving platform. Broadcasters, publishers, ad networks and pure online players all benefit from our solution. Venture backed and expanding rapidly we now want to build up a new team of integration and support engineers. We seek a skilled integration & support engineer to join the team and help us further expand our market lead.

The Integration team
The integration team at Videoplaza handles several work streams simultaneously. We’re responsible for

  • integrating all of our client’s different video players with our innovative ad platform.
  • opening up our platform by helping clients to integrate their own backend systems and UIs with our backend to push and pull all kinds of data.
  • providing outstanding second-line-support by solving our client’s complex problems with neat solutions and answering tricky questions of different sorts.
  • keeping a close eye on the market and working proactive with upcoming technologies and changes in the industry.
  • creating documentation of our APIs to make the implementation for clients as simple as possible.
  • pre-integrating with partners’ platforms to make it really simple for new clients to hit the ground running with us.

To manage all this we’re using the agile methodology Kanban.

As an Integration & Support Engineer you will be exposed to, and required to, understand almost all parts of our system.

Who we’re looking for
We integrate with Flash, HTML5, Silverlight, iPhone, iPad, Android and IPTV video players and help clients to integrate with our backend REST API. In addition we create tools to help us with daily support issues by scripting and makíng custom MongoDB and MySQL queries. Solid experience of one or more of these areas is no doubt a bonus, but if you’re the kind of person we’re looking for, you’ll be able to pick up new languages and frameworks quickly and easily anyway.

Multiple languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish) are preferred since we work with clients from all over the world. All meetings and written communication at Videoplaza is in English.
