KTH Opportunities Fund söker utåtriktade studenter som tycker om att prata i telefon. Ditt uppdrag är att ringa KTH-alumner för att berätta om KTH Opportunities Fund. Du får en kommunikationsutbildning (11-12 april) och möjlighet att utveckla dig i teamwork och förhandling.
Telefonkampanjen börjar 13 april och avslutas 10 maj. Arbetstider: måndag- torsdag mellan 18-21, lördagar 10-17 och söndagar 15-20. Vi vill att du arbetar minst 12 h/vecka. Timlön: 160 kr/tim med tillägg för obekväm arbetstid
på helger.

Prylmångleriet har med otroligt kort varsel beslutat att det var alldeles för länge sedan vi gav sektionen en chans att sy märken på Ovven.

Därför har vi bestämt oss för att köra en syjunta i META idag, lördag 21/2, då vi kommer att sy märken, kolla på film och ha det najs.

Såklart är det egen nål och tråd som gäller (kan finnas lite i META att låna om ni verkligen inte har), och givetvis är det även försäljning, så det går att handla ur hela sortimentet för den som vill, overaller, sångböcker, märken och allt annat också, det finns en fin halvkomplett lista.

This sections finest badge of merit is called Honorary delta and is made of a needle with a delta framed by a wreath of oak. This is awarded to the members of the section who has exceptionally meritorious worked voluntarily for the section. Members of the section may at any time submit proposals for recipients of Honorary delta, with motivation, to D-rektoratet by clicking here and filling out the form that is displayed.

D-rektoratet will appoint the recipients of the Honorary Delta during the board meeting the 23th of February behind locked doors. The Recipients of Honorary delta are presented on Revisions-SM, and the needle will be handed out on a suitably solemn occasion. Since the recipients will be appointed in the near future the proposals for recipients must be submitted before the 23th of February.

We will together share information about your possibilities at KTH and give you directions where to go if you want to turn something small into something bigger.

SSES, SUP46, STING, CampusCompetence, SGA and THS are some of the organizations, companies and start-ups that will show you the path to make your dreams come true.

Shorter presentations of the companies and organizations will be held and the event will end up with mingle over a beer and snacks to find inspiration. We in Excitera will also present our awesome upcomings for this spring!

Sen så diskuterar vi verksamhet för den kommande terminen. Vi kommer följa upp på tidigare projekt och sätta igång med nya. Meeting 16/2 in room 1537 in E-building 17.30-19:30. There will be fika and semlor.

It’s time for the Social Equality Committee’s first meeting of the semester. We will look at our activity during last semester and reflect around it. We will discuss what we think went well and what activities we want to continue. Then we’ll discuss the activity of the coming semester. We’ll proceed with some previous projects and start some new ones. If you have have any ideas of projects you want the committee to work with this is a good time to bring them up. Everyone who’s interested is welcome, please fill in the form if you want to come so we know how much fika is needed.

Do you think it’s important that the international students at the Computer Science Chapter have someone to talk to? Do you want them to be a bigger part of our Chapter? Then you would make a great Buddy! The Buddy program means you are paired up with one or more international students and you get their email address. From there you can hang out as much as you want. You will just help them and be there for them. You can do everything from just be a person they can get information from, to being their new BFF!

Another nice thing about being a Buddy is that you receive 0.2 points extra on your average grade, which is good if you want to apply for studies abroad.

Måndagen den 9 februari kl 17.30 – 18.00 håller Studienämnden i Måndagsplugg i datorsalen Grå (plan 5, E-huset).

Syftet med Måndagsplugg är att ge sektionens medlemmar fler chanser att diskutera studierelaterade frågor med representanter från Studienämnden, och på så sätt också ge oss bättre koll på vad som sker i olika kurser. Kom och diskutera eller plugga, vi bjuder er på fika!

Monday the 9th of February, at 17:30-18:00, The Study Committee will arrange a Monday Study in the computer lab called Grey (5th floor, E-building).

The purpose of Monday Study is to give chapter members more opportunities to discuss their study related questions with representatives from The Study Committee, and also let us know more about what is going on in the courses you are taking. So join us on Monday to discuss about your studies, or just come and study with us. We will provide some “fika” for you!
