Time flies ⏰💨. The semester is coming to an end and so is my term as Head of Sports 🤸‍👑 at the Chapter. I want to make the most out of this time as possible and I need your help for it! 💪🤝

I will continue arranging the regular Sunday sport session 🏃‍🏃‍ and as the weather improves, I will start with the (popular) interval sessions again 🌤️🏋️‍. But I don't think this is enough, I want to offer a more varied set of sports activities for our members 🤸‍🏀⚽🏊‍🚣‍.

Some ideas are:

• Kayaking 🚣‍♂️(we have money for specifically for this) 💰💦
• Participating in a running race 🏃‍🏅(we do also have money for this) 🤑🏃‍
• Hiking 🥾🌳
• Organizing a tournament for our members 🏆🤾‍🤾‍
• Play ultimate frisbee 🥏🤸‍

Other ideas are, of course, welcome as well! 💡👍

Everyone who signs up will be invited to an initial meeting where we form groups of people organizing the different things. You won't be alone in organizing, but have to be prepared to take responsibility for it! 🤝💪🏋️‍♂️

On May 6th, the chapter's song leader invites you to the year's biggest and most sought-after lunch party, the Punch Lunch! Punch Lunch is a "fulsittning" in a classic spirit with good food, punch, swedish nubbe and lots of singing (mostly in swedish). It will also become one of the chapter's most distinguished traditions! So you don't want to miss this!

If you think that the party only starts with Punch Lunch, you can later in the evening go to "Kravallen" organized by indek, or hang out in the Beer Tent in the Quarnevalen area, where there will be live music!

The dress code is of course Ovve and songbook. (If you don't own a songbook, you will be able to buy it at the party.) More information will follow shortly.

This message is to inform about the EECS educational office's availability. This is follow up on the survey I did a while ago. The answers from the survey were presented at the last breakfast meeting and here are their answers:

• The office prefers that you book an appointment to talk about matters that they need to familiarize themselves with before the meeting for instance regarding exchange studies or study plan. Currently booking a time is done via e-mail, but there will eventually come a booking system to book slots instead.
• If you have a quick question it usually works great to just stop by their office (office room number can be seen via their KTH profile) if they are available and ask them directly. They usually leave their doors open when they are available.

On Monday the 15th of May, the Val-SM will be held at 17:30 in D1 at Campus Valhallavägen.

The reserve times are Tuesday the 16th of May and Monday the 22nd of May.

At the Chapter Meeting, we will deal with the annual report and financial statements for 2022, the issue of discharge from liability for the D-directorate in 2022 as well as its clubs with accounting obligations, elections for important positions in the Chapter as well as motions and propositions.

Hello all union members!

Tuesday, April 4th, KF#5 will be held in Nya Matsalen in Nymble at 6pm.

All members of THS are welcome to come and listen (if you are a member of Data, you are a member of THS). However, only we elected delegates are allowed to speak during the meeting, so talk to us if you have opinions. We are Jakob Carlsson, Noah Hopkins, Pontus Söderlund, and David Puustinen; and deputies Fabian Andréasson and Douglas Fischer.

At the meeting we will, among other things, elect the board for the next financial year, and Media wants to change its abbreviation again.

KF, or the Studen Union Council (Kårfullmäktige), is THS's highest decision-making body and thus decides, among other things, what the sections can do. A number of delegates are elected from each chapter proportional to the number of members, and we then have about 5+ meetings per year. Think of it a bit like the EU but for chapters and you have a pretty good picture of the whole thing.

This is the last ordinary KF of the academic year. Don't forget to vote in the KF election too!

Welcome, to the Data Chapter's first Patch Tournament!

During the month of April you will be able to submit designs for patches, and sometime in the beginning of May Tag Monkeys' Discord will host a tournament to decide on a winner among all submitted designs. You may submit any quality of designs: finished and polished designs, pencil sketches, drawn in crayon, everything is accepted! (It should be an actual design though, if you submit a single line on a paper it will not be accepted into the tournament.)

The winner's patch will be finalized by Prylmånleriet and will then join Playboy Pikachu, the Batat's, and many more in Prylmångleriets patch supply! The winner will also recieve 3 patched for free from the supply together with the patch they designed.

The Design submission will be open between 27/3 - 28/4 through the submission form the Vote will be held between 1/5 - 10/5, on Tag Monkeys Discord

If one is not a member of the Computer Sciecne Chapter, or wants to purchase a ticket to a plus one, you can add an "extern" ticket to your purchase.

Do you need to be quick to fill in your information?

The tickets are sold via the website Confetti, and after you have created an order, you have 7 minutes to fill out all information. If you are not able to get a ticket directly it can be worth waiting 7 minutes as some people might not complete their orders.

The project team for D-Dagen 2023 has been considering bringing a music artist to the after-party for this year's career fair. We wanted to see what the interest for this is within the chapter, and how much our members think is a reasonable amount to pay for a performance.

The alternatives in the form represent different levels of expensiveness for music artists. The higher the amount, the "better"/more popular artist we can get. In our preliminary calculations we have been working with a music artist price of 200 000 SEK, excluding ticket revenues.

You have to log in through Google to fill in the form, to avoid members filling in the form more than once. But all answers are completely anonymous and your email addresses are not recorded. All data will be handled in accordance with: https://styrdokument.datasektionen.se/informationshanteringspolicy.
