It’s time for this year’s big volleyball tournament, BLUMS! More information and the ticket link (Google Forms in this case) will be shared in this event on Wednesday.

The ticket release is at 8:00 PM on January 29th at the pub. A link to the form where you can register for a ticket will be posted in the discussion section of the Facebook event. The event will take place at Stockholm Beach Club in Häggvik.

There are two types of tickets available:

Tournament Ticket: For those participating in the tournament (limited availability). Entry Ticket: For general admission. Ticket prices range between 200–250 SEK. If you’re joining the tournament, make sure to grab a tournament ticket! More details can be found in the event!

Prylmångleriet will host the first sewing circle of the year tomorrow (Tuesday 28/01) starting 17:30 in META! There will unfortunately not be any fika but you are strongly encouraged to participate anyway: otherwise your unsewn patches will rot... or something along those lines!

This Friday (31/Jan) at 17:30 we will meet in META for an exciting Speed Friending ⏱️🫂 event organized by the International Committee 🌍 and sponsored by the Study Board 🦉.

You will be matched into groups and race against the clock 🏃⏰ to (1) eat as much fika as possible 🍪 and (2) get to know each other 🤝, but, like, competitively. 😈

This is a great opportunity to make new friends from other cultures and learn about their countries, especially if you're planning on studying abroad in the future. 🛫 It is also very important for new international students to meet existing students to help them gain a sense of belonging!

The Motions-writing workshop is a perfect event for you whom have planned or written a motion to Revisions-SM. There we can together discuss your proposed changes and reed out formality issues.

The workshop will be held in META between 10-15 on friday the 7th of february.

On Saturday, January 18, the International Committee 🌍 will be hosting a medieval-themed Royal Gasque! 🫅 The King of META is inviting you in his castle to enjoy a delicious feast in honour of his kingdom. The dinner is between 18h and 22h, with an afterparty open to everyone.

For only 120 SEK (no alcohol) or 160 SEK (2 alcoholic drinks and a Swedish punsch), you will be offered an appetizing three-course meal 🍽️, many happenings, a lot of singing, and maybe other surprises 🫣. At the Lynx Hackathon, you will work in teams to create a fully systematic trading strategy based on real market data. Your algorithm will be evaluated in a virtual environment at the end of the event, allowing you to see how your idea would have worked in the real financial market.
