We will go bowling at O'Learys Norrtull on Thursday the 29th of December. You can either meet us at O'Learys at 16.45 or walk from META leaving 16.25.

We will be bowling for 55 minutes and then we will walk back to META buying pizza on the way there.

Since O'Learys only have so many bowling lanes we are limited to 36 spots, so if you want to come, sign up now! With that said, don't sign up if you don't plan on coming since it might stop someone else from playing.

Everyone is welcome! The primary goal is having fun, not to play super competitively. My plan is to only play games, but if someone shows up that wants to teach us some technique we can practice for some part of the hour!

The 15th of December will Jonathan Fransson, founder of Elevri and a known KTH teaching assistant hold an extra lecture in Linear algebra and Geometry (SF1624). The Study Board will be there and provide with some fika! For those who want to attend, fill out the form below.

Hi chapter members! It is time for Qulturmärkningen.

And what is that??? It is a Prylmångleriet and QN collaboration event where we together make a patch that represents something culturally significant in the year 2022 (often a meme). We require, of course, your suggestions of what events that could be, which you can submit by filling in the linked form.

We'll then have Qulturmärkningen the 13th from 18 o'clock in META alongside the usual board games and lots of lussebullar where you'll get the chance to vote for what event should become "qulturmärket".

On December the 14th a DM will be held in Sektionsrummet in Nymble at 17:30. At the DM, the board will, among other things, make decisions regarding the samboendeavtal for the coming year, a collaboration agreement for METAspexet, some contracts, as well as potentially close some projects.

Welcome to our icetastic Lucia skating!

We invite you to some free after-school ice skating at Kungsträdgården on the 13th of December.

Kungsträdgården is a beautiful park located in the middle of Stockholm which every year puts up a big ice rink. Thus, trust us when we say that there is no better place to go ice skating!

We will start skating at around 18:00 and finish things up at around 20:00, you’re free to drop in whenever!

We will rent skates for everyone that shows up and they will be rented for one or two hours depending on for how long you want to skate. If you have never tried out skating before or just feel like you are no good at it, that is totally fine too. You can learn! We also have a big budget for FIKA so you can just come for that if you want!!

During the first day of the Chapter meetings on the 28th of November we were not able to go trough all planned items. And due to the ammount that is remaining. it is not impossible that a third day will be needed.

Because of this, Tuesday the 6th of December in D1 will be the second reserve date for the Chapter Meeting.

On Thursday 1st December it's time for the Student Union Council (a.k.a. KF) again. All members of THS have the right to attend but only elected members may vote and speak. But if you're interested in listening, you're welcome! The meeting will start at 6pm and will be held in Nya Matsalen in Nymble (the large room by the union bookstore).

The KF is the highest decision-making body of THS, and could be described as roughly the EU of the chapters. Each section sends a certain number of members who vote on things that concern the whole THS, both THS central and the sections.

In addition to some general info points, we will also discuss:

• The distribution of seats in the KF for the next term (after the summer).
• A very important motion on the reintroduction of the KF stew.
• Whether literally anyone wants to become a THS election officer (you can run!).

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to talk to us members. Elected members for Data are Jakob Carlsson, Pontus Söderlund, Noah Hopkins, and David Puustinen; and alternates Douglas Fischer and Fabian Andréasson.

It is once again time for Konglig Datasektionen’s yearly puzzle hunt/CTF competition dJulkalendern! Do you have too much time to study? Exams to procrastinate for? Homeworks to ignore? Wonderful! Come and compete for the title Bäst på att DATA™!

A challenge is released every weekday in December before christmas eve at 12:15 CET and your task is to solve it as fast as possible! The challenges are cryptic puzzles, hacking and other computer science related things! The calendar has an intriguing story that unfolds as you solve each window.

The competition is individual, but cooperation if you get stuck is encouraged!

The winner receives the title Bäst på att DATA™ and a mystical prize. There is also an achievement patch for those who solve all windows!

On monday next week the urn elections for Chapter Chairman, Vice Chairman and Kassör open, but who are these people, really? You can find out this... tuesday (sorry).

Tuesday 22/11 next week 17:15 in B23 the Nominating Committee is hosting the Candidate Questioning, where you can come and ask questions to get to know the candidates, and get an idea of how they want to develop the chapter.

To celebrate this we will hosting an EPIC after-ski themed pub!

During the pub at 20.00, 120 tickets for the computer chapters annual Ski Trip 14/1-19/1 will be released Tickets usually sell out after some minute so be ready! Soon it will finally be time for dÅre 2023, that is, the Data chapter’s annual trip to (you guessed it) Åre! We will gather 120 excited students and spend 5 truly maxed out days together. The bus up leaves late in the evening Saturday 14/1, and we will be home again Thursday 19/1. You really don’t want to miss this!!!! ❄️ This year we will have two different types of tickets - ticket with bus journey (3675 SEK) and ticket with private journey (2875 SEK). When registred, you will be able to indicate which of these you prefer. Both tickets include accommodation, lift pass, badge and dÅre merch! ❄️ Depending on how active you are in Åre, we will subsidize the trip with up to 800 SEK. More information about this will come later. ❄️ The tickets will be released on Wednesday 16/11 at 20.00 with link in the facebook event, during a traditional dÅrepub! If you are excited for Åre, it is highly recommended to come and hang out for good vibes, then you also get a reminder before the ticket release. ❄️ We will primarily prioritize members of Konglig Datasektionen (The Computer Science Chapter). Subject to space, tickets can go to other friends/relatives. ❄️ See you (preferably on the slopes)!!

On November the 16th a DM will be held in E34 at 17:30, in preparation for the Mulled Wine Chapter Meeting. At the DM the board will respond to all the motions submitted for the Chapter Meeting and decide which propositions to submit. Furthermore, decisions will be made regarding economical accesses and rigths of signatures, as well as whether to close some projects.
